Diocese of Bangor - Llan Project

Who we are

The Diocese of Bangor stretches from Llanidloes and Tywyn in the South of the diocese to Anglesey and Llandudno in the North.

The Llan project is funded by the Church in Wales Evangelism Fund. It’s a dynamic project seeking to do lots of new things with encouragement to take some creative, wise risks. 

The Menter (social enterprise) stream of the project hopes to break new ground in the area of enterprising pioneer ministry, whereby pioneers establish kingdom-orientated social enterprises to provide a different Christian presence, to enable social activism and to bring transformation. These will be commercially viable enterprises, in a sector that allows for a ‘gathering’ space or function but which are managed with a Christian ethos with the gathering potential of the business space being used by a developing Christian community.
