Who we are

Deptford Methodist Mission Disabled People’s Contact is a registered charity that aims to reduce isolation in the elderly and disabled.

Our charity provides the following services to the local community (Greenwich, Lewisham and Bromley):

- a day centre service for elderly/disabled (Tue, Wed, Thu)

- a Monday Night Club for adults with learning disabilities

- a charity shop (Mon-Sat).

- student work experience programme

- corporate volunteering opportunities

We are a much-valued community resource that provides a large range of volunteering opportunities in all areas of our charity. We ask you to volunteer for a minimum 1 day a week – but we are happy for you to give more time if you wish! A DBS check will be required for some roles. We will pay for this, refund your fares and provide lunch.

We are a fantastic community resource and welcome you to join in helping reduce isolation in the elderly and disabled.
