Who we are

Delight is a leading arts education charity that uses the joy of the arts to create magic in learning. We want to ensure that children who experience disadvantage have an equitable opportunity to thrive during their school years and beyond. To achieve our mission, over ten years, we have developed an approach that considers all parts of the school community and how we can successfully engage everyone in the power of arts-based learning. We develop our art, dance, drama and storytelling programmes with arts professionals, teachers and children. This is to ensure we offer excellent and relevant content that broadens horizons, developes personal wellbeing, and social and emotional resilience. Proven to result in strong outcomes for children, teachers and families, our approach is effective at closing the opportunity and attainment gap for children affected by disadvantage and those with additional needs.
