About us
Who we are
We are a Bristol-based community interest company that makes award-winning theatre for everyone.
We also run a community arts centre called Creative Workspace in Withywood, South Bristol that provides opportunities for everyone to explore their creativity.
We do this through a varied programme of daytime groups, after-school events, school holiday events and weekend events aimed at a very wide range of people.
We work with families with very young children, adults with a learning disability, home-schooled children, teenagers, adults, older people...everyone is welcome!
We are looking for someone who would like to help support older people and younger children to work together to enjoy simple craft activities.
We are running a pilot set of four 'Creative Coffee Mornings' at our community arts centre Creative Workspace every Friday for four weeks starting on Friday 15th September until Friday 6th October.
A local carehome requested these sessions of us and are bringing some residents, and we have invited local families with pre-school children to attend to enjoy simple crafts, storytelling and music together from 11am-12.30 and the group is then invited to stay for lunch in our in-house cafe which will be open until 2pm.
We are also running a family fun day in the form of a Halloween event on the 29th October for local families and the community, as well as Christmas drop-in days in late November and during December.
We are looking for volunteers for all our coming events - drop us a line if you are interested in enriching the community!
