Community of the Resurrection

Who we are

The Community of the Resurrection - based in Mirfield since 1898 - is a religious community within the Church of England. We offer retreats, courses, seminars, events, pilgrimages and many other activities, as well as welcoming school and parish groups and individual guests. The brothers work with churches and communities across the country and around the world, and our site hosts a number of other institutions resourcing the wider church.

 In the past five years, our church has been comprehensively restored and re-ordered as the first phase of a major programme of works to equip the Community for the future. The next stage of the plan will see the construction of a new monastery, followed by a comprehensive restoration of our existing home to meet the needs of all who come here.

The Community is supported by a small, friendly team of staff.
