About us
Who we are
In 2021, we began as a small volunteer group with a vision to empower young girls in Afghanistan facing immense barriers to learning by providing quality education and facilitating community-based education. As our positive impact spread, we expanded our reach to socially and/or economically disadvantaged individuals in Iran and among Persian-speaking immigrants and refugees, where the need for empowerment and educational support was equally critical.
Using accessible digital platforms and community resources, we have built a vibrant network of dedicated educators, trainers, mentors, and hundreds of eager students. Our focus has been on transformative subjects such as philosophy, critical thinking, creative thinking and writing, art and performance, workshops on mental health, environment, creative writing, and philosophical inquiries. Alongside these, we teach core subjects like maths and English and have ventured into vocational training in programming on a smaller scale.
We are an unincorporated organisation seeking to establish ourselves as a charity in the UK within the next months.
