Clear Village

Who we are

Clear Village works with community groups, social landlords, local councils 
and others to build better futures for local communities. Our work focuses on 
re-activating underused spaces by means of innovative social programmes. 
We identify local needs and aspirations, re-design and re-programme spaces 
accordingly, and work with our partners to achieve project sustainability. In all our 
work, engaging local people is central. 

Since 2010, we have worked with over 15 communities in the UK and abroad. As 
a result, thousands of square metres of underused space have been regained for 
community use. Our impact ranges from helping social entrepreneurs grow their 
business, to increasing confidence and motivation among long-term unemployed 
people and to enabling older people to improve their health and well-being through 
physical and social activities.
