About us
Who we are
We’re delighted you’re considering joining our friendly, proactive team here at Clare Hall, University of Cambridge.
Clare Hall was established in 1966, and is one of the 31 constituent colleges of the University of Cambridge. Founded as an Institute for Advanced Study, we maintain the largest programme for visiting academics in either Oxford or Cambridge. With an egalitarian ethos and a small student population, the College’s academic community is uniquely integrated.
Our membership is distinctively international, ethnically diverse, and actively promotes the inclusion of families. This helps to create a highly productive and enjoyable working environment.
Clare Hall sits in peaceful surroundings to the west of the Backs, along the south side of Herschel Road. The College hosts annual endowed events of international significance including the Tanner Lectures, the Tanner Ashby Lecture and the King Lecture.
