Who we are

We help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, impartial and confidential advice through face-to-face, webchat and over the phone. We don't just advise our clients we campaign to improve the policies and practices that affect all our lives and by influencing policy makers. Every Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity and we rely on the support of people like you to ensure we are ready when needed. Right now the demand for our service is greater than ever.

Volunteering can be hugely rewarding!  Our volunteers come from all sorts of backgrounds and help with everything we do. Could you join them? If you’d like to boost your CV and enhance your skills for life and work or simply help people from your community, then you should consider volunteering for us. We’re one of a network of over 400 bureaux across England and Wales. You may even have visited us for advice – over 40% of the population has.
