Who we are

Child Soldiers International is an international human rights organisation dedicated to ending the military use, abuse and exploitation of children. We work to prevent the recruitment of children by all types of military forces and to enable the safe and effective reintegration of children who have been recruited by them.

We work to build resistance to recruitment among children and affected communities, and to persuade governments and armed groups to end child recruitment. Our work is based within a human rights framework, as we consider child military recruitment to be both a form and a consequence of human rights violations.
