Who we are
Established in 2007 Cheltenham Town Community Trust registered as a charity in May 2008. The Trust operates with a Board of Trustees, Chief Executive Officer, Trust Manager and an operational team of full and part-time employees delivering a wide range of sporting activities including mental health programmes, post 16 education and disability football.
The objects of the Trust are:
For the benefit of the public generally and, in particular, the inhabitants of Gloucestershire and its surrounding areas:
• To assist and provide facilities for children, young people and their families to play sport whatever their ability or background.
• To assist and provide facilities for people to be physically active and lead healthier lifestyles.
• To relieve sickness and to preserve and promote physical and mental health and wellbeing through healthy recreation.
• To advance and assist in advancing the education of children and young people.
• To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have a need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.
