Our Mission is to engage with our local community, sport organisations, authorities and trusted partners to promote handball as an alternative team sport, which can help children and adults develop their physical, mental, psychological strengths and well-being in a safe and sustainable manner.
Our Values are:
- Respect, as a measure of personal care and regard we want to display toward one another.
- Passion, as a means of engaging others via openly appreciating our enjoyment for our sport.
- Commitment, as our implicit promise to always put our team first.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Sports equity is about fairness in sport, equality of access, recognising inequalities and taking steps to address them. It is about changing the culture and structure of sport to ensure that it becomes equally accessible to all members of society, whatever their age, ability, gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality or socio-economic status.
We are committed to ensuring that equity is incorporated across all aspects of our activities and development.
We are committed to everyone having the right to enjoy their sport in an environment free from threat of discrimination, intimidation, harassment and abuse, and hence, are committed to a policy of equal treatment of all members and we require all members of whatever level or authority, to abide and adhere to this general principle and the requirements of the Codes of Practice issued by the Equal Opportunities Commission and Commission for Racial Equality.
