Who we are
The Diocese of Chelmsford is vibrant and growing with a diverse population of over three million people and 466 parishes across Essex and East London. All our parishes are separate and independent charities. The Chelmsford Diocese Board of Finance (CDBF) is the charity that manages the affairs of the diocese and supports parishes, church schools and church leaders in their ministry.
Our strategic aim is to be a Transforming Presence in every community; open and welcoming to everyone and living out God's love for all people.
