About us
Who we are
The Centre for Cultural Witness exists to strenthen the Christian voice in public. We aim to share the wisdom of Christian faith in public life through providing thoughtful and engaging material and amplifying voices that articulate Christian faith in contemporary culture.
Our culture and values
In everything we do, we always seek to be:
- Thoughtful & Accessible: we aim to make the wisdom of Christian thinking available to as many as possible.
- Curious & Committed: we want to show a curiosity about ideas from all perspectives while being confident about what Christian faith has to offer contemporary societies.
- Generous & Innovative: we critique ideas but not people. We believe Christian faith gives a fresh perspective from either left or right, progressive or reactionary.
- Past & Future: we believe in the timeless wisdom of Christianity that is just as relevant when held up in today’s culture.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
The Centre for Cultural Witness is for everyone, and we want to reflect the diversity of the community the Church serves across the whole country. Therefore, while of course we welcome applications from interested and suitable experienced people, we would particularly welcome applicants from UK Minority Ethnic backgrounds and people with disabilities.
