Who we are
At Cartwheel Arts we promote and practice "Art for a Reason".
Cartwheel is one of the leading participatory arts organizations in the North West. Participation is at the heart of all our work. That is the case when we are working with vulnerable individuals, with particular groups in a community or indeed with a whole community.
Our Mission is to promote wellbeing, social inclusion, diversity and regeneration through community participation in vibrant, memorable and high quality arts projects.
Everything we do is designed to achieve positive outcomes for local communities and participants. Every project must deliver outcomes under one or more of these headings:
- More Cohesive Communities
- Improved Health and Wellbeing
- Greater skills and employability
- More Involved and Engaged Young People
