About us
Who we are
A little bit about us, Caring Hands Charity was registered in 1994 and our main area of work aims to benefit older people in the North East of Newcastle.
Our mission statement is:
“ To sustain the independence and quality of life of older and disabled people living in the East End of Newcastle through the active support of local volunteers.”
This is currently addressed through several services being provided by our valued volunteers and employees; it is financed through various Trusts and Foundations and co-ordinated by our manager.
Our Trustees offer their skills, experience and time freely and have overall control or governance of the charity.
Caring Hands Charity believes that:
“Every user or contributor of our services should treat others as they themselves want to be treated, with equal opportunity and respect.”
The services provided are only as good as the enthusiasm, skill and understanding of volunteers, trustees and staff.
Our commitment to quality focuses on meeting the needs of users, volunteers, trustees and staff.
Thank you for taking the time to read about and we hope to hear from you soon!
