The Carers’ Support Centre is a charity that supports the Carers of North and North East Lincolnshire and their families to reduce the impact of caring on their wellbeing. It gives Carers a voice and empowers them to influence and affect change. It has been in operation for 26 years and is part of the Carers’ Trust network of Carers Centres.
It does this by providing a range of support services to Carers including advocacy, counselling, information and advice, training and learning opportunities, relaxation therapies and Carer group support.
Ideal Community Care Solutions is the trading arm of the Carers’ Support Centre. It is a Community Investment Company and was set up in April 2014. Prior to this date the home care service was part of the charity. ICCS and the Carers’ Support Centre have a very close working relationship sharing a building and its communal rooms, administrative resources and administrative staff. ICCS’s Directors are the Chief Executive and the Chairperson of the Carers’ Support Centre and presently all staff working for ICCS are employed by the Carers’ Support Centre.
Ideal Community Care Solutions (ICCS) is a regulated home care service. It has 50 Personal Support Assistants (PSAs) who work within people’s homes. The PSAs provide personal care, domestic cleaning, a sitting service, and also take people out to shop or join in social activities within the community.ork in the ffice environment planning and setting up rotas of care.
