About us
Who we are
Camden Federation of Private Tenants (CFPT) has been in existence since 1980, and is an independent local organisation run by and for private renters, who now make up around 36% of the borough's households.
We work for a better and fairer relationship between renters, landlords and agents, stronger legal rights/protection and accessible local advice and enforcement services.
Our Renters' Rights London (RRL) project does similar work to CFPT, but in other London boroughs.
We also work with the borough's housing association residents through our Camden Housing Association Residents Group (CHARG) and Origin Tenants' Voices (OTV) project.
Our culture and values
We believe that our staff are at the heart of everything that we do, and this is why we create new and innovative projects that are not only of great benefit to the groups of tenants that we serve, but also interesting, challenging and (hopefully) very rewarding to those that set them up and run them.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We also believe that our organisation should also reflect, as much as possible, the different communities we work with here in the London Borough of Camden.
