About us
Who we are
BPRCVS is an infrastructure organisation with over 80 years experience that helps people to help others. We support charities, community groups and voluntary organisations throughout East Lancashire.
The BPRCVS Vision
A vibrant voluntary, community and faith sector that meets the diverse needs and aspirations of people in Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale and the surrounding areas.
The BPRCVS Mission
To provide high quality services that promote and support effective and sustainable voluntary and community action in Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale and the surrounding areas.
BPRCVS run a number of different projects and services in the local communities we represent. Many of these services and projects need volunteers like you.
We are specifically looking for volunteers for the Navigator project which helps socially isolated and vulnerable people access support services and local community social groups.
We are also very interested to hear from volunteers with a driving licence that are interested in volunteering for Communicars - a volunteer driver community transport scheme.
There's also a range of opportunities at the CVS Centre, our Young Carers service and the local community centre we own.
BPRCVS has an approved Volunteer Centre and we're highly experienced in volunteering. We have access to a wide range of voluntary opportunities all year round.
BPRCVS reimburse all volunteer expenses. Full training is provided for all voluntary opportunities.
