About us

Who we are

Bristol North West Foodbank opened in 2011.  We are a large Foodbank who operates across the NW of the city feeding over 10 000 people from our four outlets, with emergency food per year.  We have a team of 11 staff and over 150 volunteers providing our Foodbank service but also, a homebank, advice team, cookery courses, a woodworking workshop, listening cafe and Ukraine refugee hub are managed at our Social Justice Hub.

We are a charity aligned with the Christian values of compassion and justice and we work hard to make sure all the people that we serve are cared for with dignity.

We have an equality inclusion policy and all of our staff recieve training on equality, diversity and inclusion.  We have a staff team that reflects this.
