About us
Who we are
Brighton Women’s Centre has been supporting self-identifying women in Sussex for over 45 years.
We place clients at the heart of our services, with a holistic and trauma-informed approach based on co-production principles. We are driven to achieve positive and fulfilling futures for the women we work with, many of whom have multiple, complex needs. Our specialist advice, support, advocacy and counselling services support women who have experience of homelessness, the criminal justice system, mental health needs, problematic use of substances, poverty and abuse.
BWC are part of a national network of women’s centres and gender responsive providers committed to identifying best practice in ensuring women and girls with complex needs can access the right support in the right place at the right time. BWC works in partnership with a number of statutory, voluntary and private providers.
