Who we are

Braintree District Museums Trust (BDMT) is a charity devoted to conserving and celebrating the diverse heritage of the large District of Braintree.  It comprises a former Victorian School on Manor Street, as well as the handsome Warner Textile Archive, nowadays housed in one of the distinctive timber slatted weaving sheds.  Led by a dynamic and diverse trustee board, staffed by experts in their field and supported by a vigorous and active team of volunteers the organisation has ambitious plans to grow and thereby achieve its mission and goals. In addition BDMT has a wholly owned trading subsidiary, Warner Textile Archive Trading Ltd (WTATLtd).
