Who we are

Borne is a medical charity at the forefront of preterm birth research. Our small, passionate team saves lives, prevents disability and creates lifelong health for mothers and babies worldwide. Our research to date has changed our understanding of labour, re-focused our work and redirected our efforts. Through more vital research, we will identify the key interventions that will improve pregnancy outcomes and optimise fetal development. Our work is just beginning, but already we are starting clinical trials based on our discoveries that have the potential to give millions of babies a better start in life.
