About us
Who we are
We are a community interest company led by individuals who have lived experience with borderline personality disorder (BPD), a complex mental health condition that affects around 2% of the population. We advocate for the use of lived experiences and peer support to provide information and support to anyone impacted by BPD. Our aim is to empower people to embrace life to its fullest potential.
We provide free peer support groups, signposting, training and information services so that no person affected by BPD should have to face this illness alone.
We believe that people experiencing mental distress because of their BPD have the ability to direct their own journey towards wellbeing and recovery, enabling them to live a full life with improved mental wellbeing. Our vision is to create a society where every person living with BPD receives the necessary support, treatment choices, and the respect they rightfully deserve.
We are always happy to hear from people who want to volunteer, we have multiple roles available, simply go to the Charity Job homepage and search 'Borderline Support UK CIC' to see all of our current vacancies.
