Who we are

Borderline is the only London-based charity for homeless Scots. Our vision is that every Scot in London will have a home and receive the support they need to lead a healthy, independent life. We seek to prevent homelessness wherever possible and eradicate rough sleeping, ensuring our clients have access to appropriate specialist help. 

Homeless Scots are, by definition, a disadvantaged group, but the problems they face go beyond having nowhere to sleep. Some have moved to London to find work but are unable before their money runs out, or lose their job and ultimately their home. Others have come to London to escape violence, family disputes, a breakdown in their relationship, yet often find themselves facing difficulties much greater than they left behind. At Borderline, we are committed to long-term engagement with clients, building up trust to tackle the root causes of their homelessness.
