About us
Who we are
BNJC (Brighton & Hove Jewish Community) exists to support the Jewish Community in Brighton & Hove and to provide outstanding facilities and events for the entire city to enjoy. We’re a vibrant hub for Jewish arts, culture, food, family programming, learning and much more, where everyone is welcome.
BNJC was founded with the vision to revitalise Jewish life in Brighton & Hove, honouring over 250 years of Jewish history in our city.
Our culture and values
We aim to put the outstanding seaside city of Brighton & Hove back on the Jewish map, and attract the Jewish community, of all ages and across the religious spectrum, to call Brighton & Hove their home.
With a new Synagogue and mikvah, outstanding Kosher dining and Jewish nursery, our mission is to support Jewish life across the spectrum. Our community welcomes people of every background, of all faiths and no faiths to enjoy our outstanding facilities.
We’re here to add to the diverse and vibrant spirit of Brighton & Hove.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
At BNJC, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment where every individual is treated with dignity and respect. Our aim is to create a culture that values diversity and promotes equality, ensuring that all staff, volunteers, partners, and visitors feel valued, respected, and supported.
