Who we are

Birnbeck House and Quantock House are homes run by the leading charity, Leonard Cheshire Disability. They are both lovely homes which provide a range of services for adults with learning disabilities and are ideally situated near the sea front in the popular town of Weston super Mare. Both homes have friendly atmospheres and residents take part in a variety of activities including trips out, cooking, art and music. Volunteers can expect to work with a dedicated team of support workers; we all take pride in our work and work hard to provide residents with the best possible care. We would like volunteers to share this commitment and enjoy volunteering with us.
