Who we are

At Beyond Food, we have a deep frustration that people not only become homeless, but stay homeless. We deliver professional training programmes for adults affected by homelessness to help them break the cycle of poverty and move into meaningful employment. Everything we do is focused around hospitality and catering and our flagship programme is a yearlong paid apprenticeship in Professional Cookery.

Alongside the practical cookery training, we provide holistic and one-to-one support to help participants overcome personal barriers to employment. Our programmes are designed to empower people to reclaim control of their lives, become healthy, financially independent, and able to make a valuable contribution to society. We work with the most marginalised groups in society and have specifically designed our programmes to support people with very complex needs into work.
