Who we are

BBRC is a leading place-based impact investor operating across the South West of England with a mission to improve the wellbeing of people, local communities and the environment. We have a demonstrable track record, having brokered, placed and leveraged more than £70m into the region to invest in best-in-class businesses and projects that deliver both impact and attractive investor returns.

We are embarking on an exciting stage in our development. Having created and advised on our first place-based impact investment fund (City Funds) which has received national recognition, and having been recognised by the NatWest SE100 index as one of the top 100 social enterprises nationally for the last six consecutive years, we are aiming to attract and deploy a further £1bn of finance for purpose-driven businesses, housing, charities and social enterprises into the South West region over the next decade.
