About us
Who we are
We were initially founded as a charity in 1991 in Ashford, at a time when the government of the day advocated that post-hospital care for mental health patients should be carried out in the home environment.
Since then, we have evolved, and today we provide informal social wellbeing services, welcoming all members of our community.
Based in the heart of Ashford, our vision is to provide a welcoming and safe space for all. We work as a team to help boost self-esteem, increase independence and build confidence.
Our culture and values
We provide facilities and activities for everyone in a safe and non-judgemental environment, for companionship, friendship and support. Whatever your experiences are, we are here for you to help improve your well-being
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We offer an open-door service to all adult members. We realise life can throw up many challenges, and the people we support may find themselves in vulnerable situations for various reasons such as loneliness, bereavement, redundancy, short or long-term mental health challenges, physical ailments, or learning disabilities. Through all of life’s problems we are here to provide companionship, support, and acceptance.
