Who we are

Apps for Good exists to ensure ALL young people have the tech innovation skills to thrive in an ever-changing world.

We’re proud that our computing courses give students the skills and motivation to shape their future through technology, while giving teachers the support and confidence to pick up and deliver high quality education content and resources.  

We’re a small charity committed to offering an opportunity for all.  In the past 13 years, we’ve worked with almost 250,000 young people - with more than half of our schools educating young people experiencing disadvantage. 

Thanks to the generous support of our partners, including the likes of Spotify, Google, Hg Foundation and OVO Foundation, in addition to volunteering their industry expertise, our courses are made available to schools 100% free of charge.

We  have ambitious plans to expand our reach to make a positive impact on even more young people in the UK.
