Who we are

The App Drivers & Couriers Union is a truly member led trade union which has now grown to become the largest union for gig workers and those in precarious employment.

The union is active in grass roots organising in the workplace and has successfully conducted strategic litigation including our recent victory over Uber at the Supreme Court and over Uber and Ola Cabs where we successfully challenged unfair algorithmic control. We regularly represent drivers on licensing matters to licensing authorities and in appeals before Magistrates and the Crown Court.

Our union is passionately built on the belief that collective power of workers will in the end, lead to the solution of workplace injustice and a healthier society. Our union therefore is organised from the workplace up with elected committees in most major UK cities.
