AIMS

Who we are

AIMS stands for Association for Improvements in the Maternity Services and our vision is our mission is We support all maternity service users to navigate the system as it exists, and campaign for a system which truly meets the needs of all. AIMS has been working towards better births for all by campaigning and information sharing, protecting Human Rights in childbirth and helping women to know their rights, for nearly 60 years. The charity is run by a small team of volunteer Trustees, and a larger team of volunteers. We have only recently employed a part-time home based office manager. Volunteers live all over Britain and we enjoy meeting up every so often. Our main areas of work include a website, a telephone and email helpline, an online Journal, campaigning and stakeholder responses and last but not least our new series of books.

Volunteers work closely with a lead Trustee and a team.
