Who we are

AIESEC exists to develop responsible, global leaders by providing a self-driven, practical, learning experience to youth. It was established post second-world war with the vision that by developing young leaders into responsible change agents, the business world of tomorrow would be led with a greater level of responsibility, thus lessening the chances for international conflict. 60 years later, AIESEC has produced over 1,000,000 alumni and is present in well over 100 countries. It facilitates an international exchange programme which moves over 20,000 young people around the world to live cultures other than their own. What's more, the organisation is entirely youth-led, run by students and recent graduates in voluntary or paid, elected, fixed-term positions. We believe this gives the young people interacting with AIESEC a bit of power and direction in being able to impact the world around them.
