Who we are

Age UK South Staffordshire has been working in Staffordshire for over 40 years and is the leading voluntary sector provider of services to older people in Staffordshire. We provide dementia care, care and help at home, services based around Well Being and Prevention and an Information and Advice Service.

Services are aimed at people aged 50+ who live in the Southern Staffordshire area. We operate in Cannock Chase District, South Staffordshire, Tamworth, Lichfield and also East Staffordshire and parts of Stafford.

A variety of volunteering opportunities are available at Age UK South Staffs - learn new skills, meet new people and make a positive difference to somebody's life.

Services that are available include:

• Day opportunities
   
• Home Care and Companionship including personal and non personal care like Home Help.
   
• Information and advice on a range of topics and issues
   
• Physical activity groups including walks and chair/ seated based exercise classes
   
• Care navigation service to support older people to keep healthy, safe and independent in their own home.
