Who we are
Afrika Tikkun UK works to raise money for Afrika Tikkun – a child and youth development non-profit organisation in South Africa. The organisation is dedicated to the reduction of youth unemployment in South Africa, by tackling the obstacles that make it difficult for young people to access the economy as productive citizens. Afrika Tikkun focuses on early childhood education and development, personal development, career development, mental wellbeing, health, nutrition, skills development and finally work placement. This approach is referred to as their Cradle to Career 360 model. The current situation in South Africa means that the township communities in which Afrika Tikkun works struggle to adapt and respond to possible opportunities that exist within their communities.
