Who we are

Afasic is a relatively small, specialist UK wide charity established in 1968 to help and support children and young people affected by the hidden disability of speech, language and communiction needs and their families. We have a central office in London, with projects and services taking place in all four nations of the UK. The small dedicated staff team of 22 are supported by over 200 volunteers and sessional workers to enable us to deliver a range of unique, innovative and vital projects and services.
