Who we are

Adventures Offshore is a sail training charity operating two large yachts out of the River Orwell in Suffolk. With our origins in the Scouting movement we celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2014. Our clients are drawn from youth organisations, schools colleges and universities as well as private organisations working with young people. All of our sea staff are volunteers working to the highest standards mandated by the Royal Yachting Association and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. The adventures we offer range from day or evening 'taster' sails to regular weekend cruises. For July and August, our Summer program normally includes extended voyages to ports in Europe and the Baltic as well as participation in the internationally respected Tall Ships Races.
