About us
Who we are
Active Impact is a small develomental charity in Gloucestershire with a big idea. We believe disabled children, young people and adults should have the same opportunities and choices as their non-disabled peers. We work toward increasing the number, variety and quality of inclusive opportunities in Gloucestershire who feel confident to welcome and include disabled people.
This happens through strategic voice, training and a grant funded short breaks programme. To build local capacity we provide evelopment, promotion and support for organisations to make inclusive practice part of their every day provision.
Our culture and values
Active Impact works to be inclusive in all we do. We model coproductive and inclusive practice in our structure, our approach and our service delivery.
We are collaborative, creative, practical and proactive.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We welcome applications from people with lived experience of facing barriers to inclusion such as disabled, deaf or neurodivergent people, members of the LBGTQ+ community and people from all faiths and ethnicities. We are committed to upholding an inclusive workplace and this is reflected in our approach to both recruitment and employment so that all our team members are able to contribute to their roles without facing access barriers.
