Who we are

Action East Devon is a local wellbeing and mental health charity based in East Devon.

We are a service delivery charity and focus our work on young people's mental health and wellbeing.

Our Headlight service delivers a mixture of peer support and facilitated group work along with 1-2-1 support to benefit young people’s mental wellbeing and reduce mental ill health in Axminster and Ottery St Mary. These sessions offer an opportunity for young people to meet others experiencing similar issues in a safe, non-clinical and relaxed environment as well as a programme of activities and workshops that give tools and techniques for supporting emotional wellbeing, improving resilience, and building confidence and self-esteem.

We also deliver focused 1-2-1 support for 13-18-year olds at Sidmouth College, Honiton Community College and Axe Valley Academy.
