About us
Who we are
Abbeyfield Gloucestershire looks after 3 houses in the Cotswolds, located in Cirencester and 2 in Cheltenham providing a home from home for older people.
We are proud of the care and support we provide for elderly people. In our small homes residents live in a ‘family’ environment where we encourage them to pursue hobbies and interests. Our network of ‘friends’ also organise a wide range of activities and days out for residents. Pub lunches are particularly popular! Helping residents to be independent is something we cherish.
Living with Abbeyfield is the perfect option for people who can’t live on their own and who think that going into care is their only option. Sadly, many older people are fearful of going into care believing that this is where they will go to die.
Many of our houses were once private residences but still maintain the same warm and welcoming feel of a family home, yet provide private rooms for residents who want to live independently without the hassle of cooking and cleaning.
Our houses accommodate up to 7 residents in each house and they are supported by a House Manager and Relief Cook.
Society Mission
To deliver high quality facilites and services to the residents.
Vision
To improve the facilities by every house through benefitting, prioritising and sharing from our increased financial stability and economies of scale.
