Who we are
Our mission is clear: Every dyslexic child deserves the opportunity to thrive in an inclusive educational environment and ensure they receive the support they need to flourish.We believe that once learning difficulties are identified, children from all backgrounds should be able to access a formal diagnosis within thier educational system
Our Vision
For all dyslexic children and young people to have the support they need in school.We will make this happen by:
Funding high quality specialist teaching to support and diagnosis.
Building confidence and knowledge in schools to promote a better understanding of dyslexia.
Raising awareness of dyslexia everywhere, from the government to the general public.
1 in 10 is working with UCL researchers to understand how much a diagnosis dyslexic label can help a child mental health when they understand their weakness and strengths. With this information we will be piloting this in schools by providing assessments and specialist teachers.
