Over the next three years, they'll deliver a new strategy, based on months of careful research and consultation. As a result, they're expanding and bringing new resources into many areas of the organisation to help ensure they are fit for the next 90 years. You'll be joining at a great time to build on our successes and help shape the future.
What about you...
You'll relish the intellectual challenge of quickly getting to grips with complex issues relating to the unique landscapes of Cumbria. You'll also need the political sophistication to chart a course between positions that might often be entrenched or polarised.
We'll be looking for you to demonstrate:
* Seasoned campaigning skills, delivering public-facing advocacy campaigns that gain traction in the media.
* Effective leadership, with ability to inspire and galvanize people whilst allowing the space and freedom for independence.
