 As Head of Media, PR & Editorial, you will be responsible for planning, developing and leading the implementation of the charity’s media relations, editorial content and messaging, awareness campaigns and stakeholder communications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and supporting key campaigns and strategies that help to promote and explain the work, impact, health messaging and funding needs to diverse audiences.
• PR and media relations, awareness-raising campaign development, supporter stories and celebrity/ambassador management.
• The management of a small team, including staff and specialist consultant support.

 The successful candidate will be an experienced communications professional with demonstrable expertise and a track-record of success in managing communications for a charity, health or science-related organisation. Position

As part of the Financial Sector Standards Directorate, the Co-Head of Investor Engagement is responsible for leading ShareAction’s engagement with asset owners, asset managers and investment consultants. The role is key to establishing, sustaining and deepening constructive relationships with investment professionals at the heart of the financial system, challenging, encouraging and supporting them to raise their ambition on climate, nature, decent working conditions and people’s health. This is a new role that has been created from a restructure of the team that we hope will allow both parts to work more collaboratively.

In this role, you will be accountable for designing and leading ShareAction’s strategy to engage and influence major global institutional investors. You will help ShareAction work towards our vision by playing a leading role in shaping a dynamic new strategy for engaging pension funds to be active responsible stewards of pension savers’ capital, helping them to exercise positive influence over the wider investment system in the interests of the people whose assets they manage.

You will work closely with your fellow Co-Head of Investor Engagement, who acts as Technical Lead. They bring analytical and research expertise, ensuring that ShareAction’s insights, guidance and research outputs are informed, credible and robust. Your vital contribution will be to build constructive and sustained relationships with our key audiences in the investment industry and to shape inspiring and engaging events, dialogue and communications that deliver our messages in ways that resonate.

The Co-Head role is not a job share – both Co-Heads are full-time roles. Jointly, you are accountable for the design and overall delivery of ShareAction’s investor engagement strategy and for the wellbeing and performance of the Investor Engagement Team. However, you each have distinct accountabilities within the strategy, and the Engagement Lead (this role) will have primary responsibility for team operations (budget, risk and plan management, as well as monitoring, evaluation and learning). The team comprises eight more junior colleagues, six of whom will sit in your reporting line, with three reporting directly to you. As a team Head, you will also be part of ShareAction’s Extended Leadership Team, which plays a key role in organisational leadership, strategy and decision-making.

You will also liaise closely with colleagues who lead our advocacy with policymakers, as well as those who lead our corporate campaigns, helping to coordinate their efforts to build coalitions of investors that drive change through collaborative engagements with specific companies and sectors. You will also oversee the secretariat function which ShareAction provides to two networks of mission-led investors (the Charities Responsible Investment Network and the Responsible Investment Network – Universities), supporting their ambitions to be at the leading edge of responsible investment practice.

Do you have helpline or call centre experience?  Are you good at communicating on the telephone?  Do you enjoy helping people to find information and solutions to challenges?  Are you approachable and a good communicator? We need you to join our high volume, friendly helpline team of staff and volunteers, answering calls and providing information and support to older people in Croydon.

Our helpline is a first point of contact for many older people and their families and carers as they tackle a variety of issues around finance, social engagement, housing and council tax, travel concessions such as Blue Badge and Taxi card.  You will play a crucial role in answering our busy Information & Advice Helpline phone: listening carefully and sympathetically to callers, finding solutions to their queries or issues and. The role is varied and very rewarding, and no two days are the same.

• Providing information and signposting to callers to our Helpline and to people enquiring by email
• Entering new client referrals on our database and recording each new enquiry on our systems
• Supporting and supervising volunteers within the I&A Team

Position Summary/ Objective

A new role within our European region, the Paid Social Media Specialist will be working closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Lead (UK) to deliver world-class paid media campaigns on multiple digital platforms in multiple countries.

This role will work across IFAW’s four fundraising markets in Europe: France, Germany, Netherlands and the UK to grow our paid media revenue. The role will focus on Social and Search advertising but also to experiment with new emerging platforms.

Directly reporting to the Senior Digital Marking Lead in the UK, this role will coordinate and plan new paid social campaigns and content, working closely with the Digital Leads, and the Senior Fundraising and Marketing Manager, to roll these out across our markets.  You will work across a variety of channels such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Reddit, Bing, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, Spotify and more.

Role and Responsibilities

Working with the Digital Marketing Lead in each country (France, Germany, Netherlands and UK), the role will:

- Coordinate, develop, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns from conception to launch and completion across EU fundraising markets.

- Building out media buys for various ad platforms and overseeing the day-to-day execution of paid media to support each market.

- Work closely with Digital Marketing Leads to agree on campaigns, budget allocation and spend, ad grouping and audience targeting.

- Support and contribute to the creative process of building advertising campaigns. Including video creation specifically for advertising.

- Conduct in-depth keyword and website research, and suggest landing pages optimization.

- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.

- Working cross-departmentally, specifically with the Content team.

- Identify and suggest new emerging platforms and avenues for digital outreach.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

- 5+ years’ experience with digital paid media, specifically with Meta and Google advertising.

- Excellent understanding of creating and implementing paid media campaigns with prior campaign examples (across multiple countries/markets a plus). 

- Ideally completed advertising certifications (for example, Meta Certified Media Buying Professional, Google Analytics 4).

- Extensive experience in creating digital ad assets and copy, including video.  

- Video creation skills specifically for advertising, experience working with Adobe Creative Suite tools.

- Fluency in working with analytics platforms, for example Looker Studio.

- Goal driven, extremely analytical, with the ability to make data-based decisions and conclusions.

- Excellent communication skills to present the results of campaign performance verbally, as well as provide clear and concise reports.

- Fluent English (spoken French, German or Dutch is a plus).

- Interest in IFAW’s programmatic work and global wildlife conservation issues.

- Self-starter with ability to jump into a hectic situation to provide support.

- Highly organised and self-motivated; able to manage and prioritize multiple projects, desire and capability to work in agile, fast-paced and demanding environment.

We are seeking additional experienced Associate Independent Investigating Officers (IO) for Complaints, to increase our capacity to respond to referrals from Local Authorities to provide an independent element to the formal Stage 2 investigations under the Children Act 1989.

The IO will lead investigations, and will give the complainant (who may be a child, young person or adult) the opportunity to express their view, ensure the child or young person’s rights and best interests are at the centre of the investigation and that the investigation/review process is open and transparent. They write a report on the investigation/review, which is submitted to the referring agency.

The Job Description document sets out the expectations for an Associate Independent Person for Complaints (IPC) who is approved by Coram Voice. IPCs are independent, freelance and responsible for their own work. Nevertheless, IPCs are accountable to the organisation for their professional standards and are expected to comply with Coram Voice Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines.

What you’ll do

As part of our Health team, the Initiative Lead – Healthy Markets Initiative (HMI) is responsible for driving our health-focused campaign strategy, collaborating with institutional investors, and pushing major corporates to improve their nutritional standards and consumer health impact. This role is key to advancing corporate accountability, deepening stakeholder engagement, and integrating health as a critical aspect of responsible investment practices. The Initiative Lead plays a vital role in our projects and campaigns by refining our strategy, prioritising target companies, and leading the execution of our Healthy Markets Initiative.

A typical week will see you strategising with investors, refining the financial and moral case for corporate health improvements, leading discussions with major food and beverage companies, and drafting impactful communications to stakeholders. You’ll regularly engage with institutional investors and corporate leaders, forming strong relationships and using your expertise to influence better nutrition and health outcomes within the food and beverage sectors.

Finally, in this role, you will help ShareAction harness the power of investment to build a world where the financial system promotes health and wellbeing. By scaling up the Healthy Markets Initiative, securing long-term funding, and embedding health and nutrition as critical aspects of responsible investment, you’ll contribute to shaping a healthier, more sustainable future.

Preventative Advice Caseworker

Do you have experience in giving accessible advice? Can you support people with a learning disability and their families by creating preventative advice resources? Are you organised and can manage a varied advice caseload? Yes, we may have the role for you.

Mencap are recruiting for a Learning Disability Caseworker (LDC) to give advice on welfare benefits, housing, health, and community care, to people with a learning disability, their families, carers, and professionals working with them. Some of this advice will be live caseload, and some will be in preventative advice packs that you have created, these will then be added to the Mencap website and distributed by you through community networks.

The Learning Disability Caseworker role can be based where you want to work from, with occasional travel to casework venues and our Peterborough office. This role will be full time (37.5 hours) on a fixed term contract until September 2027.

About the Team:
The Supporter Operations Team plays a central role in delivering an exceptional supporter experience, ensuring smooth internal and external fulfilment to maximise supporter engagement in order to meet our ambitious targets.

The Supporter Operations Team plays a central role in supporting our fundraising teams, to maximise supporter engagement and ensure that the fulfilment of our fundraising appeals, donor thanking and donation processes are carried out correctly and in compliance with all relevant regulations

About the Role:

In this role, you will manage the team’s workload, forecasting expected capacity to ensure that daily, weekly and monthly tasks are planned out and completed in accordance with set KPIs. As well as supporting the Supporter Operations Manager in monitoring & evaluating the performance of the Operations team using reports to investigate any unusual results/trends. 

You’ll also: 

• Bring to the role a keen understanding of supporter response handling, the intricacies of processing donations, Direct Debits, Gift Aid, and communication preferences
• Assist with due diligence processes within the wider SEO team, specifically focusing on internal data security practices, response handling accuracy, and adherence to relevant regulatory requirements such as those for Gift Aid or the BACS scheme for Direct Debits 
• Proactively identify processes for improvement across the Supporter Experience & Operations Team to deliver efficiencies and improve the effectiveness of internal procedures 

• Support campaign managers and other colleagues with any new or existing projects relating to fundraising operations, working closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring requirements are clear and fully documented

• Knowledge of the rules and regulations of Gift Aid, Direct Debit, Data protection and PCI-DSS compliance 
• Strong team player. Proven experience and/ or evidence of providing support/supervision/ training to team members
• Experience of documenting business processes, and comfortable with communicating and influencing a range of stakeholders
• Experience of income processing and donor response handling
• Excellent IT skills (use of Microsoft products, particularly Excel) with ability to analyse data accurately
• High attention to detail with ability to work methodically, ensuring minimal errors, and able to problem solve should errors arise 
• Ability to analyse fundraiser requirements, and capable of providing the best fulfilment solution working with internal stakeholders
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to listen, understand, analyse and resolve queries of a technical nature (incl. complex queries). Demonstrate an innovative approach to problem solving with the ability to implement robust solutions, taking into account future requirements
• Excellent time management skills. Proven ability to manage & prioritise own workload, conflicting tasks/ deadlines effectively and successfully
