· Supporting the Coordinator with monitoring and evaluating the service and overall service delivery

· Ensure campaign key messaging works across varied channels and audiences, to deliver greater impact to new and existing supporters.

· Proactively source and share insights, keeping up to date with market trends and audience motivations to inform the tone and style of supporter materials.

Proficiency in office procedures and IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and video calls) is essential. Experience with database management is a plus, and you should be able to work flexibly and independently. 

Experience in healthcare or education settings is also desired. Prior experience in a similar role, along with project management skills, is advantageous, especially in supporting service developments from initial stages to full implementation.

This is an important role within our legacy and journeys team, part of an established and successful individual giving operation. This role is responsible for the delivery of campaigns to promote legacy giving and to raise awareness of gifts in wills to both existing charity supporters and new audiences.

Purpose of the post: You will be the sole role for the Charity’s finances and will support our small team in a vibrant, prolific and growing organisation which provides quality assurance and membership services to institutions delivering training, education and assessment in dance, drama and musical theatre.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the coordination of the PMER Community of Practice

• Lead the coordination of the PMER Community of Practice and organise and chair the Community of Practice Steering Group. The PMER Community of Practice is an informal group designed to facilitate the sharing of learning and best practice among WaterAid staff, especially PMER staff.
• Lead on PMER Community of Practice communications including the CoP communications strategy, quarterly PMER inductions, trainings and learning sessions and communicating regular PMER updates.
• Ensure that the PMER Community of Practice is active, incentivising participation in COP activities e.g. drop in clinics, webinars, discussions etc.

• Develop and manage effective PMER capacity strengthening initiatives to support the application of the PMER core procedures and especially Reporting processes. This includes developing new and strengthening existing PMER guidance and tools and developing and delivering training.
• Provide remote and/or face-to-face support to Country Programmes and Regional Teams on an ad hoc basis to strengthen and build capacity in PMER
• Support any other relevant processes including administrative tasks within the remit of PMER as required

External Representation

• Represent WaterAid externally on key PMER issues, linking with key networks as appropriate

About You:

• Experience of coordinating and rolling out complex reporting processes, working with a range of stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Experience of building engagement of colleagues on a specific area of work, in-person or remotely
• Experience of strengthening the skills and capacities of others either face-to-face or remotely
• Good understanding of planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting concepts and approaches
• Experience of writing reports fluently in English based on analysing and presenting complex information to a variety of audiences
• A self-starter, able to work independently and drive tasks forward to completion, escalating issues where appropriate
• Ability to travel internationally for up to 4 weeks per year
• Commitment to WaterAid's values and a working style that reflects these.

Desirable skills

• Experience in an international development organisation
• Specific qualifications or training in project planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting
• Knowledge of maintaining and managing online information platforms such as SharePoint
• Fluent in written and spoken French, Spanish or Portuguese or another language widely spoken within a WaterAid Country Programme

About the role:

When someone sustains a spinal cord injury, it is a life changing experience.

Back Up’s Regional Outreach and Engagement team are the very face of the organisation and are based across the UK, working directly with spinal cord injury centres, major trauma centres and hospitals – or indeed anywhere that people affected by spinal cord injury may be.

As a Regional Coordinator, you will build relationships and take ownership for what happens in your geographical area. Whether it be providing peer support to newly injured people in a clinical setting, facilitating wheelchair skills sessions, making referrals for ongoing support or supporting volunteers and fundraisers – you will be passionate about being able to demonstrate the impact of what we do, and will see for yourself how Back Up quite literally transforms lives.

We are recruiting for a Temporary special events officer for a high profile health charity . Working with the Special Events Manager the Special Events Officer will support in the creation and management of a special events programme aimed at engaging major donors, corporates, and trusts.

Office-based in London with some flexibility to work remotely. During event days out of hours work will be required.

The Role
Supporting the co-ordination and delivery of our high-quality events programme.
Working alongside staff, committees and senior volunteers to raise income from special events.
Support the special events manager in correctly tracking and recording income and expenditure for events and ensuring they are delivered within agreed budgets.
Monitoring and reporting on events.
Cross divisional collaboration and event delivery.
Leading on business-as-usual events and supporting on larger fundraising events.
Working with event suppliers, helping to source and secure high-end venues within budget, as well as working with production companies and catering, ensuring we work with the best and most cost-effective suppliers.
Support fundraisers to deliver income from high-net-worth audiences

The Candidate
Experience of organising high quality special events, targeting high net worth individuals
Experience of working with volunteer committees and engaging high net worth individuals in delivering events
Experience tracking expenditure against budgets
Experience of working within and closely with colleagues to support their donor engagement.
Experience in managing external suppliers
