Employer Relationship Manager (North-West)
A new opportunity has arisen within The Forces Employment Charity for a highly motivated Employer Relationship Manager for the North-West region to join its dedicated Employment Team embedded within the Career Transition Partnership (CTP).
Job Role: To source and secure suitable, quality vacancies and vocational opportunities for all Service Leavers (SL) resettling through the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) – including CTP (Assist), Early Service Leavers (ESLs) and, when required, Reservists and Spouses.
The ERM will take an Apprenticeship to Executive approach to CTP employer engagement - by engaging, developing, and managing relationships with key employers & employer organisations across the relevant region.
The role reports to Employer Engagement Manager (EEM). This position is permanent Full-time, 35 hours per week, with a salary of £32,000. The successful candidate will be Home based, with local and regional travel in North-West United Kingdom.
The ERM will work effectively to a defined set of employment related targets and Performance Indicators (PIs) as defined by the EEM. The ERM is expected to comply with all CTP and Forces Employment Charity (FEC) Data Protection Procedures and relevant CTP Work Instructions.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement an intelligence led, regional employer engagement strategy which links key regional employer job opportunities with the career requirements of all SL. These should include:
· Full-time appointments, part time appointments, work experience placements, suitable self-employment and vocational opportunities.
· Proactively market the transferable skills and experience of all SLs to potential employers, particularly potential regional key accounts.
· Work with employers across industry sector networks to determine future skill and talent pipeline requirements.
· Work with the Key Accounts staff and regional CTP staff to integrate these into the CTP Transition, Training and Employment Support strategy.
· Manage the relationship with key regional CTP stakeholders.
· Work closely, co-ordinate, liaise and provide employer engagement related support (when requested and when appropriate) to the affiliated.
· Maintain strong links with existing regional SME employers who have traditionally supplied appropriate jobs for SL under CTP.
· Ensure all regional employer contacts are encouraged to register, enter and manage their own vacancies on the CTP website.
· Maintain accuracy and integrity in all interactions with the CTP CMSR ensuring timely recording of own employer engagement activity.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Essential Competencies:
· A comprehensive understanding of recruitment and industry intelligence, including the regional job market and vocational training, job matching, and selection.
· Proven track record of initiating and managing high-level and influential external relationships.
· Ability to deliver outputs against demanding schedules and work to a set of Performance Indicators (PIs).
· Strong presentation and all-round communication and negotiation skills.
· Experience of using and exploiting advanced business management systems.
· Ability to analyse data and clearly present findings.
Desirable Competencies:
· Certificate in Recruitment Practice or equivalent

Security Clearance:

We are looking for a full time Partnerships Engagement Officer to work with the WES Partnerships Manager to offer support and knowledge of ED&I initiatives to our growing pool of partners in the UK including, Engineering organisations from small start-ups to universities, SMEs to Blue Chip FTSE 100 companies who partner with WES to support women in engineering and their own ED&I strategy.
The ideal candidate will have experience of account management, preferably in a not-for-profit organisation and bring proven experience in equity, diversity and inclusion (ED&I). Principal Accountabilities:
· Reporting to the Partnerships Manager to Create, develop, support, and manage engagement with all WES partners.
· Work with WES partners to identify, design, implement and coordinate ED&I initiatives for their organisations.
· Monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of ED&I initiatives for WES partners.

About The Hygiene Bank
Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most of us take for granted. The reality of low income is that it restricts people’s options, leaving us caught between being able to heat our homes, pay the rent, eat, or be clean. It is washing hair, bodies, faces and clothes in the same cheap washing up liquid used for the dishes. It is not being able to replace a toothbrush when needed or sharing a toothbrush because one each just isn't an option. It is having to choose between shaving foam and razors or the transport fare to a job interview.
Hygiene Poverty is the hidden crisis facing the UK. In May 2024, The Hygiene Bank published their second groundbreaking research into the incidence and impact of hygiene poverty. It found that over 4.2 million adults across the country are currently experiencing hygiene poverty and that it is both alarmingly widespread, increasing and disproportionately impacts the most vulnerable. It stops people from participating in society, feeds the mental health crisis and blocks routes out of poverty. It is simply unjust.

About the Role
As one of our team of four Partnership Managers, you will have the exciting opportunity to make a huge difference in improving the lives of people living in hygiene poverty. Reporting into the Head Operations, the Partnership Managers plays a pivotal role in the charity and are responsible for overseeing and co-piloting our volunteer lead community projects.
The role is varied and requires strong time management, organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous record keeping and strong volunteer management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Volunteer Experience Manager to actively recruit volunteers in key areas, in line with our strategic objectives.
- Onboard new projects by supporting the volunteer project coordinator with all aspects of setting up a community project.
- Foster positive relationships with the project teams to ensure engagement and inclusion and to be the first point of contact for them.
- Co-design and implement project plans for the newly formed projects identifying areas of support needed to sustainably grow the project.
- Work with the projects to identify suitable Community Partners in line with our strategy and eligibility criteria.
- Support the project with any funding applications and ensure impact data is captured.
- Ensure all projects are compliant and operating within out charitable objects, therefore reducing the overall risk the charity.
- Work with the Operations team to ensure all supporting volunteer guidance documentation is accurate, relevant and up to date and to ensure the volunteer newsletter, website and members area contains all required and up to date volunteer supporting information.
- Monitor and analyse KPIs and provide regular reporting to both the team and board.

Organisation: Twinkleboost is a small registered charity dedicated to equipping families from socioeconomically deprived backgrounds and children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) with the skills they need to support their child’s communication development, so they can have better outcomes in life. We deliver free speech and language sessions for families, led by Speech and Language Therapy Assistants and overseen by a Speech and Language Therapist.
Staffing: Twinkleboost operates with a lean team consisting of only two part-time employees, including the CEO, and a small group of freelancers who support various aspects of our programmes and operations.
Location: The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Manchester as and when required (no more than once a month).
Mission: After nearly a decade of operation, Twinkleboost seeks a CEO capable of leading the organisation into its next phase of development. The PR Manager role will sit within our Marketing and Communications team, and will be:

In this role you’ll be both strategic and hands-on, solely managing the financial controls for this small charity with a £350k annual turnover. You will support the Director and senior management team through your management of financial processes, policy and planning.
This will include using accountancy software to process income and expenditure, producing management accounts for the senior management team and Board, and ensuring the charity reports to its key funders, including Arts Council England.

As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Building a robust pipeline of appropriate opportunities from trusts, foundations and/or institutional donors.

- Developing quality proposals through effective proposal management, working closely with Hope for Justice programmes, MEL and finance teams.

Role Description
The Project Manager is an adept and organised professional, esteemed within the nuclear policy community for their level. Responsible for overseeing a discrete package of work, they must demonstrate a clear understanding and alignment with broader programme goals, strategies, and objectives. The role will report to the Programme Manager.
Taking charge of project deliverables, the Project Manager will navigate the entire project cycle, from generating fundraising ideas to developing them further and building knowledge of funding relationships. The Project Manager should possess a solid understanding of global security and conflict resolution, coupled with a proven ability to design, and execute high-quality project management and research. The ideal candidate is an established researcher with a specialisation in nuclear weapons issues, in particular the Non-Proliferation Treaty regime, and an emerging track record of policy relevant publications.
The Project Manager will kickstart and manage BASIC’s new project: the Nuclear Transparency Index (NUTRI). The Nuclear Transparency Index (NUTRI) will be an online index maintained by BASIC that will assess the transparency of all States that possess nuclear weapons (both those recognised by the Non-Proliferation Treaty and those that are not). Looking at nuclear transparency in its various aspects, the index, using a series of metrics, will enable ranking and comparison of changes over time. The Project Manager will need to apply creative thinking to the development of a transparency framework, and strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess the implementation of each metric by the states under review.
The Project Manager should also possess the skills to promote their work at relevant multilateral forums, expand their network in their area of specialisation, benefiting BASIC, and be capable of line managing other team members within their project.

The Programme Manager will implement the Non-Proliferation Treaty Monitor (NPT Monitor), a platform that provides independent analysis and information on the effectiveness and implementation of the Treaty by the NPT-recognised nuclear-weapon States. The key objective for the Programme Manager will be to develop this project to a level where the NPT Monitor becomes a permanent and essential fixture of the NPT regime, providing significant analysis on treaty implementation for States Parties (especially smaller delegations), NGOs, and academia.
The Programme Manager will demonstrate exceptional leadership and vision within the nuclear policy community. They will have a robust track record of policy-relevant publications. About you
You are a dynamic and strategic leader with over a decade of experience in income generation and partnership management, specifically within the leadership development, learning and development, and human capital development sectors, particularly in the UK public sector and international development arenas. Your track record of successfully leading teams and securing high-value, long-term funding partnerships through grant and bid/open tender processes sets you apart.
You excel in relationship management, leveraging your outstanding networking, negotiation, and communication skills to build and maintain partnerships that drive sustainable growth. Your ability to inspire, influence, and engage stakeholders at all levels is one of your key strengths.
You possess a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with a passion for leadership development, learning and development and community building and a commitment to The Human Edge’s vision and mission. Your resilience, creativity, and team-oriented approach make you an influential member of any senior management team, ready to drive strategic objectives and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
About the role
We are seeking a Head of Development and Partnerships to join our Senior Management Team alongside the CEO, Head of Programmes and Head of Finance and Operations.
You will drive income generation and partnerships development with funders and prime contractors within primarily the UK public and international development sectors, ensuring that our programmes, courses and consultancy offerings meet market needs and are financially sustainable.
You will lead on activities generating over £1m annually through grants, tenders, contracts, partnerships, and strategic communications contributing to The Human Edge's financial growth and brand development.
As the key member dedicated to income generation, you will shape and expand our funding streams, driving the growth of our services while serving as a charismatic external ambassador and effective communicator and influencer.
