The Role:
As a Community and Events Fundraiser, you will:

About The Role
The Help for Heroes Community Development team are looking to recruit a team of Community Builders to assist in their reshaped participation and connection strategy. Using Asset Based Community Development, we seek to support the charity’s objective to enhance reach and positive impact for members of the Armed Forces Community facing challenges within their local communities.

About You
You will have experience leading and facilitating the mobilisation of local communities, asset mapping, bringing together people for engagement that matters to them. You will have knowledge and experience of Asset Based Community Development work, outreach methods and you will have good organisational skills, energy and the ability to animate local communities.

- Deliver outreach to drive local connection, engagement and participation opportunities for the AFC

As a Social Welfare & Digital Support Adviser, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive advice, casework support, and digital support to the residents of Tower Hamlets. As a dedicated and empathetic Social Welfare Advice & Digital Support Adviser, your role will be essential in empowering individuals with complex and multiple needs, helping them navigate the intricacies of the welfare benefits system and access the financial support they deserve. Additionally, you will provide vital digital support to enable clients to manage their welfare claims online, enhancing their digital confidence and independence. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Holistic Client Assessment and Support - Conduct detailed, confidential interviews with clients, applying a holistic approach to assess their needs for advice and support, including digital needs.
- Comprehensive Needs Assessment - Assess various aspects such as financial situation, social welfare entitlements, debt, digital literacy, and other significant issues affecting clients and their families.

- Application Assistance - Assist clients in completing application forms, mandatory reconsideration, appeals, and other paperwork related to social welfare benefits, money and debt, funding, and grants, both in person and online.
- Tailored Client Support - Ensure that services are adapted to the needs of each client, considering communication, digital abilities, understanding, and vulnerabilities, while supporting their navigation through online platforms.
- Financial Advice & Support - Provide advice on income maximisation, debt management, budgeting, savings, and accessing financial support, empowering clients to achieve financial independence, including offering digital tools to help manage finances.
- Client Involvement - Through clear communication and consultation, ensure clients are involved in resolving their social welfare issues, including welfare benefits, debt, and money management, and are kept informed on the progress of their case, particularly regarding digital aspects.

As a Support Advisor working part time or full time, you will be a fundamental part of our team, supporting the delivery of the RISE programmes and the development of the service. The service will provide a range of trauma-informed and person-centred support, focused on supporting those impacted by abuse to access education, training, employment or volunteering.
You will be responsible for providing trauma informed support through group work and 1-1 support. Working alongside a team of practitioners across our geographical patch in Wiltshire, the project aims to:
- Increase volunteers in FearFree and support people to access volunteering opportunities externally.

We are seeking a proactive and detailed Grants Manager to support our development team on the journey to further Cardboard Citizens’ ambitions as a dynamic, flexible and forward-thinking social justice charity and theatre company, working with people who have experience of homelessness and poverty or inequity.
Our organisation secures over £1m in voluntary funding each year and our Grants Manager will play a vital role in securing and growing the broad range of voluntary support which allows to make exceptional art for social change.
