Role Description
This role will contribute to A4ID’s mission of promoting the UN SDGs, the power of pro bono, and strengthening the rule of law by focusing on climate change and environmental conservation.
The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of a project focused on combatting the Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT) in the Kavango Zambezi (KAZA) region in Southern Africa. This will include convening partnership stakeholders for project planning and development, devising and implementing activity plans, sourcing experts and developing monitoring and evaluation. This role contributes to building the capacity of legal actors on needed legal support and expertise to tackle issues such as illegal wildlife trade in Southern Africa, as well as climate mitigation and adaptation around the world, particularly in low to middle-income countries. The Project Manager will also have opportunities to engage in coordination and learning activities, representing the KAZA project as part of A4ID’s broader portfolio.
You will lead on and advance A4ID’s climate-related and environmental projects, including related business development and developing and supporting new service offerings and products. The role will also support A4ID teams in relation to climate and environmental projects (including strategic pro bono projects) and will contribute to thought leadership, enhancing knowledge generation, and communications.

The fundraising team at Leeds Castle was established relatively recently, in January 2023, and is responsible for securing funds from trusts, foundations, public bodies and individuals. There is a vast ongoing cost to care for a 900-year-old Castle and Estate and they need to generate income above and beyond the successful visitor & hospitality businesses. The postholder will play a crucial role in delivering a funding strategy to support their new multi-million-pound project ‘safeguarding the Castle for the next 900 years’.
The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge and experience in trust and foundations fundraising, with a clear record of funding achievement. Working with the Head of Audience Development & Fundraising, you will drive forward their fundraising strategy, strengthen the trusts and foundations pipeline and apply for match funding opportunities. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the supervision of residents in accordance with policy and practice under the direction and guidance of managers and relevant staff where necessary. Deal with routine issues raised by residents on a day-to-day basis.
- Staff and supervise the Approved Premises during designated shifts, referring serious incidents to designated on-call Manager and adhere to the procedure of completing incident reports as necessary.
- Ensure enforcement of Approved Premises rules and deal with any breaches in accordance with procedures. Respond appropriately to abusive or aggressive behaviour.
- Demonstrate pro-social modelling skills by consistently reinforcing pro-social behaviour and attitudes and challenging anti-social behaviour and attitudes
- Liaise with Key Workers, Deputy Manager and Manager as appropriate to share issues concerning residents.
- Process information and maintain records including inputting information on the database system by recording any significant occurrences relating to residents during shift.

In 2020, the Board and Executive Leadership Team agreed a bold new strategy that we believe will transform the experiences of young people in this country. As the audience insight manager at TCS, you will help us to put our audiences at the heart of everything we do. You will use your knowledge of our target audiences, the wider charity market and our brand to inform effective and creative decision-making on campaigns and activities.
You'll help us to optimise activity and innovate by bringing insight together from a range of sources (primary and secondary) to ensure we are always audience first and insight led. You'll be responsible for horizon scanning and trend analysis to ensure colleagues across social impact stay abreast of new developments in and outside the sector. And you'll oversee our brand tracking and audience testing and will be responsible for managing and delivering qualitative and quantitative research projects liaising with external agencies as well as internal stakeholders.
With previous experience in an insight, strategy or research role, you will be an expert at interrogating qualitative and quantitative information; able to pick out the most useful points and build a persuasive strategy through effective story telling. You're proactive and excel at building strong stakeholder relationships. And you're always looking for new and better ways of gathering insight.
In order to be successful in this role, you must have:
-Experience of conducting primary research (quantitative and qualitative)

The pandemic pet boom, poor breeding practices and the rising cost of living mean that rescue centres, like Bath Cats and Dogs Home, are contending with unprecedented numbers of animals with complex medical and behavioural problems.

As a Supported Housing Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations, providing a high quality, safe, welcoming and secure supported housing accommodation for young people at risk whilst leading and developing the team. In delivering the role, you will be responsible for:
-- Service Provision: Responsible for the daily operations of the service so that it meets the requirements of the service specification, and:
- reflects Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices

About the role:
Our Health team has an exciting opportunity for three new roles to join the team. Two of these roles will be focused in our North London TST team, and one in our Lewisham hostel team with a focus on improving the barriers faced by those experiencing homelessness when accessing health care.
As a Health Lead, your role will focus on developing and embedding SHPs health approach into the services the charity provides. It will involve working with and supporting those living within our hostels who have underlying health needs to access and maintain the health care they need. To complete initial health screening tools, create a health support profile plan for each client and to make referrals to and support them in engaging with the correct services (i.e. dentistry, podiatry). In this role you will complete health mapping and use this information to influence partnerships formed with external services to help overcome barriers faced by those experiencing homelessness.
The approach taken with clients will be psychologically informed, incorporating an understanding of Personality Disorder, complex trauma and addiction. The outcomes for your role, include developing positive and sustained relationships of trust with clients, supporting them to engage in health care support and see an improvement in their overall physical health.
About you:
To be successful, you will have:
- A knowledge of (or willingness to learn) about common health issues and the barriers to health access that people experiencing homelessness may encounter.
- Ability to find ways to engage and develop relationships with clients who may have a low level of interaction with and/or suspicion of services.
- Good understanding of local level health set up/services i.e. homeless health providers and teams.
- Confidence in working both as part of a team and independently.
- Skills and understanding of creating and monitoring support plans and record-keeping with regards to client support, safety and safeguarding issues.
