Job purpose
We are looking for an experienced digital communications professional to play a key role in improving our digital communications. Reporting to the head of communications, marketing and digital, the role will oversee the development of a new RCVS Knowledge website, developing our use of user data and insights and managing the development of engaging content.
As project manager for the RCVS Knowledge website development from discovery to launch, you will be working closely with your colleagues in our small and friendly communications team, as well as with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to help us realise our vision of a well-designed, user-friendly website which meets the needs of all our audiences.
You will ensure that we have a shared understanding of our requirements across the RCVS Knowledge team and with the supplier, and that these requirements are informed by audience data and insights. In addition, you will also take the lead on auditing our current site content and developing a strategy for developing relevant, high-quality content in time for launch and beyond.
You will have recent, relevant experience of leading website developments of significant size and complexity, with a passion for user-centred design and creating high-quality content.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact between RCVS Knowledge and the digital agency, and internally with the website project stakeholders.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure user needs are understood, manage the development of the project plan, establish regular meetings to share progress and seek input and deliver to agreed timescales.
- Develop website goals and KPIs which support the RCVS Knowledge communications, marketing and digital strategy.
- Manage documentation for project governance as needed, including issues and risk logs.
- Lead on our content audit and strategy for the new website, considering user needs and supporting our organisational objectives.
- Create and edit a range of content for the new website which supports user experience and meets current best practice for SEO and accessibility.
- Oversee the content migration to our new website.
- Ensure all internal users receive training on the new CMS appropriate to their level of access.
- Ensure all activity is undertaken observing the requirements of data protection legislation (GDPR).
- Contribute to the development of a new communications, marketing and digital strategy.
- Using tools such as Google Analytics, ensure we are reporting against our agreed objectives and make recommendations based on the data and insights available.
- Ensure the wider RCVS Knowledge team and senior team are kept up to date with project progress.
- Provide additional informal training to staff on the use and interpretation of analytics.
- Undertake any other duties in line with the objectives of the post.
Essential Criteria
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- A track record in, and passion for, digital communications gained in either in-house or agency roles.
- Experience of managing website projects from end to end including agency management, stakeholder management, build, design, testing and content creation.
- A solid understanding of content design, user experience and web accessibility.
- Experience of developing digital content which follows best practices and is engaging and inspiring for a range of audiences.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, analysing data to inform decisions around improvements.
- A great understanding of SEO and the impact good content has on search visibility.
- Experience of and confidence in working with content management systems.
- Ability to build strong and effective working relationships internally and externally.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Patience, initiative, sound judgement, and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Great communication skills – written and verbal.
- High-level of IT literacy, proficient user of Microsoft Office tools and project management software.
Desired skills & experience
- Experience working in the communications, marketing and/or digital function of a small/medium-sized organisation, or evidence of how you would apply skills learnt in a different context to a charity of c20 staff.
- Experience of different project management approaches e.g. agile and waterfall.
- Facilitation and workshop experience.
- Experience of establishing new ways of working and successfully embedding them to secure effective use of resources.

The Role
As Trust Fundraising Manager you will secure new funding opportunities and work on a pool of warm and cold charitable Trusts with a focus on the £10,000 to £40,000 range. The role involves researching and qualifying prospects, submitting high quality funding applications and stewarding existing donors effectively. It will also involve managing reporting deadlines and matching potential donors to projects needing to be fundraised for, collaborating with our Service Teams.
You will prepare applications and reports to trusts and foundations, in line with funder deadlines, keeping in touch with donors and prospects via phone, virtually and face to face. You will match potential donors with projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach.
The person
You will have experience of: Securing funding from Trusts with excellent writing and presentation skills; Solid prospect research skills to identify new funding opportunities and maintain a forward pipeline of applications; Of working collaboratively with Service Teams to package and cost project areas; Stewardship of warm funders including preparing donor reports, reviewing financial reports and gathering case studies. You will also have strong time management skills with ability to manage and prioritise your workload and ideally experience of using a CRM for Trust Fundraising.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive events manager to join our ambitious National Events team. This role will manage the recruitment, marketing and logistics of events within our National Events portfolio including our largest event, London Marathon, managing a team of 500 and raising over £1M, alongside managing events such as Paris Marathon. Key responsibilities include:
- Successfully manage allocated events in the National Events portfolio, ensuring the events achieve their financial targets and generate net income and ensuring their continued success into the future.

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Engagement Manager, responsible for developing and overseeing the School’s relations with business and external third parties (public sector and not-for-profits). This is a key member of the team, responsible for building and nurturing relationships with external partners in the UK and internationally to deliver on LSE’s 2030 Strategy. We are seeking someone with experience of developing projects and funding proposals with corporate partners and/or an understanding of the nature of business partnerships.
Candidates should have solid experience of working in business relations, ideally within a not-for-profit or public sector environment, and with a strong track record of delivering fundraising/income generation or other mutually beneficial partnerships. You should be able to navigate complex relationships and have the drive and tenacity to negotiate and see through partnerships through to completion. We are seeking a self-reliant, motivated and collegiate individual who is a good team player, able to build positive relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. You should be creative and resourceful, able to spot opportunities and be innovative in your approach, as well as have strong communication skills to persuade and bring others along with you.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, the Database and Insight Manager role will help to continue to transform the way the Charity uses data to make decisions and support our fundraising strategy.
The post holder will directly manage a team of 3 and will be responsible for ensuring the CRM is kept up to date and accurate as well as providing the Charity with the best possible insight, tracking, recording, and processing of all supporter interactions.
The person will:
· Develop and provide robust, high quality and insightful KPI reports, dashboards and analysis for each area of the charity.
· Inform and update the Head of Individual Giving and Director of Fundraising on response patterns, donor profiles and trends within our database, providing insightful and accurate data to underpin strategic fundraising decision making and informing marketing campaigns.
· Work closely with the Supporter Care Manager/Supporter Care Team on projects and initiatives that will help with loyalty, retention and engagement of our supporters.
· Lead on fundraising wide data product development and take responsibility for data protection compliance/GDPR, in collaboration with the Head of Individual Giving and Governance Team.
· Document and set approaches to manage change and improvement of data capture processes across the teams.
· Lead on new projects relational to our data and processes such as data retention schedules and improvement of existing and new automations.
The successful candidate will:
· Have experience in managing and leading a team.
· Be able to manipulate and process complex data sources, analysing supporter data.
· Have proven experience of gathering and analysing data, extrapolating meaningful insights and producing recommendations.
· Have strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret results and draw conclusions and high-quality analysis.
· Have good knowledge of Excel including formulae, pivot tables and graphs.

The role:

The New Business Manager role will play a key role in leading our New Business activity outside of our existing portfolio. Reporting to our recently appointed Senior Manager for Partnership and New Business, your role will involve:
1. Core New Business activity: Researching and development of prospect lists for priority industries to implement New Business campaigns capable of securing multi-year high value partnerships. Responsibility for building Street Child’s network of corporate relationships and growing pipeline of corporate partnership opportunities.
2.
