This role is home based but will require frequent travel to Coventry, and further travel to our services across the country.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all residential accommodation is well managed, in accordance with ROSH regulatory standards, decent homes standards and any other relevant legislation.
- Lead the Property team and be a role model, demonstrating Christian values and understand, demonstrate and articulate the Christian ethos at the heart of the organisational work. The post holder must be a Christ-centred individual who is able to put their belief in Christ into action as a leader and as a manager of staff. Provide pastoral signposting to staff as required.
- Coach, manage and develop the Property team to ensure that they have the required skills to deal with enquiries and deliver a high-quality service.
- Manage and direct the activities the Property team in conjunction with the Buildings Managers and to ensure staff are kept up to date with current best practice, professional methodology in accordance with relevant legislation and effective contract management.
- Ensure the effective delivery of the objectives of the Trusts Asset Strategy
In addition, the successful candidate will be a practicing Christian who will create an environment where people feel valued, empowered and equipped to do their best work. River Church Ipswich is an HTB Network church plant in the town centre of Ipswich, which launched in September 2021 and has already grown quickly into a thriving resource church, with a congregation of more than 200, and three Sunday services.
The Spear Centre Manager will work as part of the River Church staff team to oversee the delivery of Spear—an employability programme equipping and empowering unemployed 16-24 year-olds to overcome barriers to employment and their lives around by moving into sustainable work or further education.

Website
- Responsibility for maintenance and development of Resurgo’s website, delivering engaging content with a focus on dynamic visuals and videos, tailored to our different website audiences.
- Optimise user journeys across all Resurgo’s digital channels.
Partnership liaison and relationship management
- Establish the primary local referral agencies and build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with them to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective.
- Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network.
Oversight of Spear Programme Spear
Foundation is a 4-week initial phase, consisting of 2 group sessions and a 1:1 with each trainee per week, in which we coach young people around skills and mindsets to support them in returning to work or education, and equip them with the skills to stay there.
- As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work.
- Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Assistant Coach.
- Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education
Line management and training
- Manage the Assistant Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.
- Be line managed by River Church staff, locally, and by Resurgo, nationally, to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPI.
Supporting River Church’s mission and ministry
- You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members, and help the Assistant coaches to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme.
- Ensuring the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church
- Work with the Head of Operations and Fundraising Assistant to prepare successful grant funding applications for Spear Ipswich, and provide timely grant reporting.
- Attend and participate in Staff Meeting, Tuesday morning Prayer Meeting, and Sunday Services (serving on a team at one or more Sunday service) • Regularly pray for Spear, River Church, and in particular our Social Transformation work.
- Attending other River Church events and services, occasionally speaking and/or contributing as required • Ad hoc tasks and other project work.
Site management

Your Role
The Philanthropy Manager role is crucial in helping raise funds to enable our rapid growth and the expansion of our impact. You will use excellent communication skills to write compelling and tailored proposals to increase our reach.

Your Responsibilities
- Systematically identify, qualify, and strategise a pipeline for up to six figure gifts for both unrestricted and restricted giving
- Lead on building an excellent stewardship programme, supporting relationship managers across the team to deliver sector leading supporter journeys
- Develop and implement strong cultivation and solicitation plans for existing donors to generate significant income from the portfolio. This will include personal meetings, attending networking events, writing proposals/reports and making presentations
- Take an active role, and lead where relevant, on the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of philanthropy events, including events that are hosted by Ambassadors
- Support on the development of new fundraising products which drive the stewardship programme and the retention of major donors
- Actively participate in regular department, team or working group meetings, contributing to strategy discussion and decisions that will be beneficial to the development of fundraising activities
- Record all communications with major donors on War Child’s database, Salesforce, ensuring donor information is kept up to date and properly secured at all times.

You Are

Tender works with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. You will work closely with the Development Director to develop and implement a cross-organisational communications strategy to maximise our reach and brand awareness amongst core audiences, leading in turn to increased funding and an impact on statutory and policy approaches to preventing VAWG. This is an excellent opportunity to take on an exciting role within the Humanitarian Team of the Programme & Policy Department/Programme Management Team.

About you
The team is looking for a talented individual to support our portfolio projects through excellent contract and finance management. In this role, you will:
1. Vision and direction
- Articulate a clear vision for the organisation’s campaigning; lead the organisation and the team to implement this vision and help deliver an increase in the scale and impact of WaterAid’s global influence to accelerate progress towards SDG6;

- Lead the design and implementation of WaterAid’s priority global campaigns to maximise WaterAid’s influence on global and national political debates, working in partnership with senior leaders across the organisation.

You will work with young people between the age of 17-25 with needs related to substance misuse, including those that are affected by their parent’s substance misuse. Based in the Transitions team you will support young people with multiple risk factors and substance use. Our successful candidate will provide operational management and effective leadership to a team of Financial Wellbeing Coaches (FWCs) and Peer Advisor volunteers employed in the delivery of one or more contracts awarded by the HMPPS to deliver Finance, Benefit and Debt (FBD) services in Wales.
We will count on you to set performance objectives and monitor progress – ensuring compliance with contractual performance indicators and quality improvement, and to monitor and manage all aspects of delivery and performance.

Business Centre Co-ordinator
An exciting opportunity has been created here in Hull, to manage a brand new Enterprise, Work and Events space at the recently renovated 150 year old St Matthews former church. Is this the job for you!?
The relaxed environment at our grade II listed, St Matthews, houses our Community Enterprise Centre designed to make us Hull’s preferred choice for shared work-space. This is a new focus for Giroscope and will require expertise, dedication and skill from all the team - but especially from the new Business Centre Co-ordinator, to secure a sustainable and prosperous future.
St Matthews is a newly refurbished, iconic local community enterprise centre celebrating opportunities in social business and enterprise, designed to encourage and build a sustainable local economy; signalling a place of welcome, community, culture and enterprise.
It is designed to offer a highly accessible, flexible, and multi-functional building to enable local people to develop employment and business skills. At its heart its mission is to stimulate the local community, hosting many commercial and community facing events, responding to local demands and needs.
We will rent out business and event spaces for existing and new start enterprises and other users, and will provide specialist enterprise support to our business tenants and users. As Business Centre Co-ordinator you will help realise our ambitions in developing a successful and sustainable St Matthews.
Purpose of the role: to be responsible for the successful operation of St Matthews, ensuring the centre provides an excellent customer experience, a diverse range of inclusive activities, and meets its income generation targets.

The Role …
- Assisting in all stages of the business and co-worker member journey – to ensure that we support all individuals and teams throughout each day, week and month.
- Facilitating the well-being and happiness of all business and co-working members through personal introductions, social/community events, workspace maintenance, operational management and the resolution of issues.
- Demonstrating St Matthew’s core values and expectations by being a positive presence for all members.
The Role …
You will:
- Be familiar with delivering and achieving sales and room hire income targets
- Become the familiar face and first contact to each new work space member.
- Lead, develop and coordinate community initiatives to connect members. This includes but is not limited to; delivering member introductions, event organising, electronic and print communications.
- Guide new members through the welcome and onboarding process.
- Meet and communicate with members to resolve issues, process membership departures and other issues of complexity.
- Resolve member-related issues to ensure a happy, cohesive community.
- Manage work space member expectations in line with the St Matthews mission.
- Resolve member complaints regarding other members through unbiased investigation.
- Seek opportunities to engage members to discover and discuss members’ business, social and personal objectives.
- Proactively enquire regarding members’ business objectives and identify both St Matthews and member services that could assist in achieving their goals.
- Manage inbound post.
- Implement rules, guidelines and best practices for the community to enhance the member experience.
- Identify and communicate observed weaknesses within community management, sales, events, training, and member experience on a company-wide level.
- Work with Giroscope’s operations team to ensure that all in-house tech is operating correctly at all times.
- Ensure our facilities are compliant with all ongoing health and safety requirements.

Position Title: Senior Development Manager, Donor Network
Location: Hybrid working between London office and remote.

We are looking for a Senior Development Manager who is passionate about exploring new ideas and possibilities within a collaborative environment as well as ensuring our supporters feel valued.
You will manage our Big Change Strive Network: a group of high-value donors who share our values and back our core work. To do this successfully you will be confident in building on strong existing foundations by working with those who have taken part in our Strive challenges and been a part of our ‘catalyst circle’, and you will play a crucial role in deepening and expanding the network and its visibility. There is space for a creative approach in this role because we want to take our incredible supporter network to a new level. Not only will you be leading a large part of Big Change’s fundraising efforts, but you will also be making and introducing new connections that will help to enrich and evolve the Strive network.
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Development, this role is essential in building and maintaining relationships that drive philanthropic support and advance Big Change’s mission. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in major donor engagement, building network identities, network development, managing communities and project management. An interest in systems change is a bonus.

What you’ll be doing (Key Responsibilities):
1. Fundraising Strategy Implementation:
-
Support the Director of Strategic Development to develop and refine fundraising and partnership goals and objectives.
-
Execute the organisation’s fundraising strategy, working as part of the Development Team towards a shared target, with a focus on major gifts.
-
Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, populating the organisation’s pipeline, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and project needs
-
Work with team members in each area of the organisation to develop a strong model for donor collaboration linked to impact.
-
Monitor market insights and adapt to fundraising trends and donor behaviours.
2. Strive Network Management and Development/ Donor Community Development:
-
Lead the management and growth of a mission-aligned network, engaging high-net-worth individuals, including those who participate in Strive Challenges.
-
Develop and implement strategies to deepen relationships within the Strive Network, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.
-
Work with our comms and marketing team to develop the donor network’s shared purpose, vision statement, brand identity and visibility.
-
Oversee the careful research, qualification and stewarding of new partnerships that will help to enrich and evolve the Strive network towards inclusivity and participatory approaches.

Co-develop value propositions with existing members of the Network to encourage others to join the group.

Create opportunities for the Strive Network to connect with and add value to our community of changemakers on the ground (eg. mentoring, connections, follow on funding).
3. Major Donor Engagement:

Lead on relationship management with existing major donors, designing tailored stewardship and ensuring ongoing engagement.

Review, evaluate and further develop key touchpoints with major donors, collaborating with team members across the organisation and other funders where appropriate.

Accountable for the identification, cultivation, and welcoming of new major donor prospects, with a focus on diversifying and expanding the Strive Network beyond its current reach.

Oversee the production of personalised proposals, presentations and reports, sparking ongoing engagement with the network and linking their contributions to Big Change’s community and impact.

Work closely with the Director of Strategic Development in managing high-profile donor relationships and securing multi-year commitments.
3. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Provide training and professional development opportunities for team members.

Work closely with other teams at Big Change to ensure alignment between fundraising activities and organisational needs.

Develop, inspire, motivate others to fulfil their potential and foster collaboration across Big Change and its community
4. Data Management and Reporting:

Working closely with the senior leadership team, track and report fundraising progress, ensuring transparency and accountability in all pipeline development activities.

Oversee the management of donor databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all fundraising activities.

Track and analyse engagement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.

Responsible for compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in fundraising activities.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Experience:

Highly experienced in fundraising, major gifts, network development, or related roles.

Proven experience of building a community with shared identity, values and purpose.

Facilitation of co-design processes, or related experience of such approaches.

Strong experience of designing engaging events, experiences and creative communications.

Communications and branding experience helpful but not essential.

Experience with working across UK and US markets isn’t necessary but would be desirable
Skills:
